Tips for Faster Times

Learn the patterns. Most minesweeper positions resolve with known patterns like 1-1 and 1-2 — recognizing them instantly is where speed comes from. Start with our patterns guide.
Flag less. You win by revealing safe cells, not flagging mines. Only flag when the flag unlocks safe cells you couldn't otherwise confirm.
